Auction Vehicle Delivery — Any Yard, Anywhere in Great Britain
Won a vehicle at an auction in Great Britain? Post the collection for free and compare quotes from checked drivers — Copart, BCA, Manheim, Aston Barclay, Synetiq and others, to any address in England, Scotland or Wales.
Auction houses
You can post a collection from auction sites across Great Britain, including Copart, BCA, Manheim, Aston Barclay, Synetiq and Wilsons. If you've won a vehicle anywhere in England, Scotland or Wales, post the job and see who quotes.
How it works
- Post the job — pickup and drop-off postcodes, the vehicle and whether it drives. It's free and you don't need an account to post.
- Checked, independent drivers send their own price. Each quote shows the driver's goods-in-transit cover in pounds.
- Choose a driver and pay a deposit online to book. You pay the rest to the driver directly, on the payment terms shown with their quote.
What to include when you post
- The site's postcode and your delivery postcode
- The vehicle, and whether it drives (non-starter, flat tyres, accident damage)
- The lot number in the notes, and the release or gate-pass details under Access instructions (Special instructions in the app) — only the driver you accept sees those
- The dates that work for you — and any storage deadline
A1 Transporter is a new platform and we don't have drivers quoting everywhere yet, so on some routes you may get few quotes, or none. Posting is free, so it costs nothing to see who quotes.
Before you book you see the driver's price and our booking fee. The booking fee is the deposit you pay online; the driver's price is paid to the driver directly, at the time and by the method shown with their quote. Nothing else is added.
Why book through A1 Transporter
- Checked drivers — before approval we check each driver's V5 (vehicle log book), motor insurance and goods-in-transit certificate
- Cover you can see — each quote shows how much goods-in-transit cover that driver has
- Condition photos — the driver photographs the vehicle at collection and again at delivery
- Ask before you book — chat with drivers on the website or in the app; contact details are shared once you've paid the deposit
Frequently asked questions
Which auction houses can drivers collect from?
You can post a collection from any auction site in England, Scotland or Wales — Copart, BCA, Manheim, Aston Barclay, Synetiq, Wilsons and others. Name the site when you post the job and see who quotes.
Can I avoid storage fees?
Post the job as soon as the lot is paid for and mention the storage deadline in the notes. Drivers say when they can collect, so you can choose one who can make it in time. Collection times aren't guaranteed.
Is my vehicle insured during transport?
Every driver must hold goods-in-transit insurance. Before approval we check each driver's V5 (vehicle log book), motor insurance and goods-in-transit certificate. Each quote shows how much cover that driver has, so choose one whose cover is at least your vehicle's value.
What do I pay A1 Transporter?
Only the booking fee, which you see before you accept a quote. You pay it online as the deposit when you book. The driver's price is paid to the driver directly, at the time and by the method shown with their quote.
