Copart Wisbech Collection & Delivery
Won a vehicle at Copart Wisbech? Post the collection for free and compare quotes from checked drivers — runners and non-runners, to any address in England, Scotland or Wales.
Collecting from Copart Wisbech
Copart Wisbech is on Newbridge Lane, Wisbech, PE14 0SE. Copart's page for the site gives its hours as Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 (checked 2 October 2026) — check your Copart account before you agree a collection date, as hours can change.
Post the job once you've paid for the lot: the site's postcode, your delivery postcode, the vehicle and whether it drives. Put the lot number in the notes, and the release or gate-pass details under Access instructions (Special instructions in the app) — only the driver you accept sees those.
Copart's collection rules
Copart's New Member Guide (January 2024 update, still published on copart.co.uk; checked 2 October 2026) says:
- Pay within 6 calendar days of winning
- Book the collection — every collection has to be booked as an appointment in Copart's Transportation App, and the vehicle paid for first
- No driving away — vehicles can't be driven away from a Copart Operation Centre, so plan for transport
Once you've chosen a driver, agree the date with them first, then book that appointment in the app and give the driver the lot number and appointment details. Copart also offers its own mainland UK delivery, quoted from your postcode, according to its guide — worth comparing with drivers' quotes. Your Copart account has the terms for your lot.
How it works
- Post the job — pickup and drop-off postcodes, the vehicle and whether it drives. It's free and you don't need an account to post.
- Checked, independent drivers send their own price. Each quote shows the driver's goods-in-transit cover in pounds.
- Choose a driver and pay a deposit online to book. You pay the rest to the driver directly, on the payment terms shown with their quote.
Storage charges
Copart's guide asks you to collect, or arrange delivery, before storage fees start building up. Check the storage terms for your lot in your Copart account, and post the job as soon as you've paid so drivers have time to quote and collect.
Non-runners, Cat S and Cat N
Copart sells salvage vehicles, and some don't drive. Describe the condition when you post — non-starter, flat tyres, accident damage, and the Cat S or Cat N category if it has one — so drivers who can load it quote for it. Our Cat S and Cat N guide explains the categories.

A1 Transporter is a new platform and we don't have drivers quoting everywhere yet, so on some routes you may get few quotes, or none. Posting is free, so it costs nothing to see who quotes.
Before you book you see the driver's price and our booking fee. The booking fee is the deposit you pay online; the driver's price is paid to the driver directly, at the time and by the method shown with their quote. Nothing else is added.
Why book through A1 Transporter
- Checked drivers — before approval we check each driver's V5 (vehicle log book), motor insurance and goods-in-transit certificate
- Cover you can see — each quote shows how much goods-in-transit cover that driver has
- Condition photos — the driver photographs the vehicle at collection and again at delivery
- Ask before you book — chat with drivers on the website or in the app; contact details are shared once you've paid the deposit
Frequently asked questions
Can a driver collect from Copart Wisbech for me?
Yes, if a driver quotes for it. Post the job with the site's postcode and your delivery postcode, and put the lot number in the notes. Once you've chosen a driver and agreed a date, book the collection appointment in Copart's Transportation App — Copart's guide says every collection has to be booked there — and give the driver the appointment details.
How quickly can the vehicle be collected?
That depends on the dates you set and the driver you choose. Post as soon as the lot is paid for and compare what each driver says about timing — especially if storage charges are close.
Can I drive the car away from Copart Wisbech?
No. Copart's New Member Guide says vehicles can't be driven away from a Copart Operation Centre, so you'll need transport. Post the job and compare quotes from drivers who can collect.
Is my vehicle insured during transport?
Every driver must hold goods-in-transit insurance. Before approval we check each driver's V5 (vehicle log book), motor insurance and goods-in-transit certificate. Each quote shows how much cover that driver has, so choose one whose cover is at least your vehicle's value.
What if the car doesn't drive?
Say so when you post the job. Drivers see the vehicle's condition before they quote, so the ones who can load a non-runner — with a winch — can price it properly.
