Refer your customers to A1 Transporter

For self-storage companies and other businesses whose customers are moving. Put your own A1 Transporter link or QR code on your website or at your reception. Your customers get 10% off their first booking (up to £50) with your own discount code, and for every booking made through your link or with your code that is completed and paid, we pay you up to £10: half of our booking fee on that job, capped at £10.

How it works

We send you your link and your code — Email us your business name and website. We reply with your own link (for example a1-transporter.co.uk/removals/?ref=your-name), your own discount code (for example YOURNAME10) and a QR code to print for your reception. Scanning the QR code fills in your discount code for the customer.
Your customers post their job — They post a house move, an item delivery or a vehicle transport for free. Movers send their own prices and the customer chooses.
You earn up to £10 per completed booking — When a booking made through your link or with your discount code is completed and paid, it earns you half of our booking fee on that job, capped at £10. Each month we send you a statement and pay by bank transfer within 14 days after the month ends.

What your customers get

10% off their first booking with us (up to £50) with your discount code. The discount comes out of our booking fee, not out of your pocket; as your share is half of the fee we keep, on smaller jobs it makes your share smaller.
Coming through your link costs them nothing extra.
Movers set their own prices, and the customer chooses which quote to accept.
Before we approve a mover, we check their V5C (vehicle log book), motor insurance and Goods in Transit insurance — for removals and item delivery, cover that includes household goods.
Posting a job and getting quotes is free; the customer pays only when they accept a quote.

Good to know

We're a new platform, so we don't yet have movers everywhere. If no mover quotes on a job, your customer has paid nothing.
There is no cost to you.
A booking made with your discount code counts wherever and whenever it is made, on our website or in our apps. Without the code, we can only count a booking made on our website in the same visit in which your link was opened, before the browser is closed.

Partner terms

Commission: for each booking that a customer makes through your link in the same visit, or with your discount code, once the job is completed and paid, half of the booking fee we keep on that job (after any discount), rounded down to the penny and capped at £10. If a customer followed more than one partner's link, the most recent one counts; a booking made with a partner's discount code counts for that partner.
Your customers' discount: 10% off the total price of their first booking with A1 Transporter, up to £50, when they use your discount code. One discount per customer; it cannot be combined with another code.
No commission is paid for bookings that are cancelled or refunded.
Payment: a monthly statement, and payment by bank transfer within 14 days after the end of the month in which the job was completed.
You must make clear to your customers that you receive a referral fee from A1 Transporter, as the UK CAP Code requires — for example, "We receive a referral fee if you book through this link or with our code."
No misleading claims about A1 Transporter: don't promise a price, a date or that a mover is available. The movers are independent and set their own prices.
Either side can end the arrangement at any time by email.
